Turtle

I have a pet turtle
His name is Fa Li
Everyone's jealous
Of my turtle and me.

For we are a couple
Of twisted good-doers
We clean up the messes
We clean up the sewers

We eat peanut butter
On slices of bread
We throw dirty socks
On mean people's heads.

And when the night falls,
Fa Li and I
Sit calmly and look
to the star brightened sky.

Fa Li is a turtle
Of small width and height
But for such a small turtle
He's so full of might.

He is my turtle
My friend and my pet
He hates it so much
When he goes to the vet.

I must stay close by
or my little Fa Li
Will panic and kick
Til I come and see.

Fa Li is my buddy
We shan't be apart
For my little turtle
Is engraved on my heart.
