Your big blue eyes
Stare right through me
Through to the lucky girl
Who’s caught you eye
You don’t know how jealous
I get cause you always just
Pass me by

You can see me as a person
Standing on the sidelines
But you can’t see the way
I smile when your face is lit up
You know my name
But you don’t know
That I can’t breathe
When you are near
It’s like you do but you don’t

There is something I can see in you
That makes you seem so true
And I bet the girls who
Throw themselves at you
Can’t see it
Or even know the color
Of you eyes

You can see me as a person
Standing on the sidelines
But you can’t see the way

You know my name

And you look right through me
You never notice that I stop and stare
Anytime that you are here
You never notice that I know you
Better than the girls who
Fall all over you
