Pick up your feet
Just run faster
That’s what I keep
Telling myself
Maybe if I leave
Behind this place
Things will get better
I can’t believe that I didn’t see this coming
And that now I’m stuck asking myself
Where am I going?

The empty street
Is tempting me
Thinking of running
Away and getting lost
Maybe that’s what I need to do
Gotta run till I forget all the lies
I can no longer hide inside
I’m lost without you
And I no longer have you
So maybe that’s what I need to do
Get lost

Got my hoodie and my good ‘ol
Converse on
Ready for whatever may go wrong
The backpack I’ve brought
Is heavy from all the memories
It’s got packed away
