As I Cry You Hold My Hand

I sit here with you
As we talk everything through
Me and you, being open, honest, and true
I talk about him
You talk about her
And what we did we simply cant forgive
Although we can sort it through, and understand
As I cry you hold my hand
Everything we’ve been through
All the troubles we had
Nothing seems to matter
As long as we decide to put it behind us
It does no good to make a big fuss
We can’t go back and fix it
We just have to accept it
We are only human, and we make mistakes
But never again will we walk down this lane
Never again will we cause each other this much pain
We’ve got to pull ourselves together., so we can move past this
We have to make up for all that time that we have missed
