Eternity...

I saw you leave me, with no regret,
But I know now, I’ll never forget,
Your beautiful eyes, and your kind face,
They’ll all disappear, without a trace,

I loved you like, no one before,
I loved you right down, to my burning core,
I cried out to you, wishing you to care,
Once more for me, but you unleashed a glare,

The tears soon streamed, down my miserable cheeks,
As they’ll stay there, for the next thousand weeks,
You stopped in your tracks, and unleashed your hate,
Hate for me, and all of my fate,

Once you’d started you couldn’t stop,
Whether you lied, or went over the top,
Your insults dug deep, and left mental scars,
I felt really dizzy, and began to see stars,

I forced myself, to use all of my might,
To move my bruised body, to sit upright,
I carried on moving, but screamed in sheer stress,
But I persevered, I couldn’t care less,

Seeing my true love, walk away from me,
I must persuade him, persuade him to see,
That he’s meant for me, and I’m meant for him,
Without each other, we’ll both be grim,

I stumbled over, to where he stood,
He moved back, as far as he could,
As I got closer, I flung out my arms,
Embraced him tight, and used all my charms,

His body was rigid, tense and hard,
But soon he relaxed, let down his guard,
I think he finally saw, what I could see,
That we’ll always love each other, for eternity
