Opposing the Opposition.♥
How is it that,You're this distant from me?
How is it that,
You just can't seem to see?
All of my grovelling,
Falls on deaf ears
Slit wrists have appeared,
To blind eyes for years
Inside, I'm decaying,
But, my exterior's calm
Yet, escape is impossible,
Because, I'm resting in your palm
I'm right where you want me,
And, you don't even know
You're killing me softly,
But, I won't let you go
The only way,
That I can be free,
Is to turn to the only One,
That won't abandon me
With Him is where,
I want to lie
"Let us eat & drink,
For, tomorrow, we die"
He was tempted,
So, He can save,
Me from you,
And all I crave
If only I,
Wwas strong enough,
To trust in Him,
And refuse your bluffs
But, I am weak,
And dirty inside
I neglect my Father,
And choose to hide
Someday, though,
I will resist,
Be at peace with the Lord,
And, you won't be missed
Till then, I will wallow,
In my tears & my sweat,
Continue to sin,
And offer bloodshed
When will your blind eyes,
Be able to see,
The expert way,
You're slaying me...?
